About PONYTECH

PONYTECH is a S197-era (2005-2015) Ford Mustang-focused mobile electrical and systems diagnostic service founded by Erik Fuller based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

It all started when I let that water leak into the passenger side footwell for a little too long...

Fast forward a couple years and the horn didn't work, the headlights barely put out any light even with new bulbs...signaling a turn was fine, as long as it was a left turn. This had to stop.

By the way, I used to be a professional automotive photographer. I mean, I *AM* still an automotive photographer, but I used to be too...

How I Work

I'm methodical. I don't guess at parts. I start with the symptom, pull relevant data from the vehicle, and work through the diagnostic process until I find the actual cause. Sometimes that's fast. Sometimes it takes focused effort. Either way, you get an answer you can trust before any money gets spent on repairs.

I use a combination of factory-level scan tools, FORScan, multimeters, and oscilloscopes depending on what the problem requires. I read and reference Ford wiring diagrams and service information. And I document what I find so you're not left wondering what was done or why.

I'm based in Indianapolis and serve the central Indiana area.
